On the 15-18 January, Richard Dubugnon has had four
performances of his Arcanes Symphoniques as an American première with the
Dallas Symphony Orchestra conducted by the French conductor Emmanuel
Krivine. He appeared twice in the Dallas Morning News with a
sensational preview and an excellent review.
Richard was also invited by
educational institutions to lecture on his life and work. While in Dallas,
he visited the Newman Smith High School, Plano West
High School, South Grand Prairie High School, Duncanville High School and Arts Magnet as well as
the Southern Methodist University see

He also presented his Arcanes Symphoniques before each performances, in a pre-concert
talk called performance preludes
led by LeAnn
Binford, director of education at the DSO, which also featured
virtuoso violonist Rachel Barton who was playing Saint-Saëns' Violin
Concerto No3.
